With deep love for this city and a infinite sadness for the past few days events, Barcelona is a magic city, buzzing with creative talents. For this gorgeous industrial loft located in one of the quintessential neighborhoods of the city: l´Eixample, interior designer Marta Castellano and architecture studio Serrat-Tort were tasked with the renovation of this home built at the end of the 19th century, in which they had to convert two apartments into one single residence.
In the process, they made it more spacious and enhanced its original structural elements, such as the large chimney, herringbone pattern oak parquet flooring, moldings, windows and doors, and Catalan vaulted ceilings. A beautiful work with a lot of personality and charm while retaining the original industrial appeal of this Barcelona loft.
