as you may have seen on instagram and a few pics here, i’ve changed up my bedroom (just below) and it feels much more peaceful to me. i’ll admit it — i was trying to be ‘all grown up’ with a sophisticated black bedroom, but i tried it and well, it just wasn’t for me. i’m aware my bedroom design now is much looser so to speak — sprinklings of vintage treasures i really love, like the funky lighting pendant from an old church, my mid-century modern dresser, and a crochet bed throw, but i just need to realize this is me. this is how i really like it — a mismatched collection of vintage belongings that makes me happy — that actually mean something special to me. i get those vibes from these spaces and i thought you might, too. they’re peaceful, easy and a little bit un-designed.
