It’s no secret that Jen Bishop from Sydney-based interiors blog, Interiors Addict is one of our favourite Aussie bloggers! So, when we heard that she was starting renovations on her newly-purchased home in Sydney, we begged her to let us make over one of her rooms… and she lead us into her bedroom. The brief? “A grown up sanctuary that’s calm and comfortable, and plays on navy + gold accents”. With the help of west elm Bondi home stylist, Brendan Nash, we #nailedit!

“Overall I just love how layered and inviting everything looks. The bed is always the hero of a bedroom and Brendan’s done an amazing job here. My bed looks straight out of a catalogue shoot! I love the bedsides with their mix of rustic reclaimed wood and sleek white lacquer, and the navy linen and rug are gorgeous” says Jen.
“It’s so warm and colourful, but because the main colour is navy, it’s not too in your face or bright. It feels so cosy but also quite sophisticated. There’s only a small touch of pink so it definitely works as a couple’s room. The side of the room with my desk didn’t used to tie in with everything else and now I feel it does. I’m much more inclined to work in here now!”
