The soft and fresh color palette in this bedroom give me a feeling of spring. The muted green linen bedsheets match very well with the beige walls and the other natural colors in this room. This color of bedsheets wouldn’t be something that I would naturally be drawn to in the store, but here it works very well.

Studio Lotta Agaton worked out this beautiful concept for Dux at Stockholm Design week this year. The exhibition reflects a residential area with natural tones combined with a muted pink wall in different settings. I love the warm and sophisticated atmosphere that was created here.

Norwegian design company Northern Lighting expanded into furniture and accessories this spring and changed their name to Northern. They expanded their collection with beautiful items in wood, steel mesh and rattan all within the value of the company where creative expression meets traditional craft, and where pale beauty is coupled with rough-cut contrasts.

I love the mixture between rustic and modern elements paired up with the historic elements of the building. This place has a cozy but very calm and serene look to it because of the detailed yet minimal decoration. I like the all white living room especially, combined with the velvet grey area rug and the black marble coffee table popping out.

Swedish Domo Design just released their new collection including a high table, chairs and a different kind of surface. I like the styling of the new products in this industrial setting. It feels rough and contrasts nicely with the straight lines of the products.

This bedroom has very light grey walls, which combines perfectly with the warm tints coming from the String shelf in wood, the vintage leather armchair and the mustard bedsheets. I think this combination of grey and natural tints looks very elegant and cozy.

Lotta Agaton has designed a kitchen concept for Swedish Picky Living with solid Douglas wood from Danish Dinesen. Her goal was to get the warm feeling of a living material in your home and I think she succeeded with that to say the least. The starting point for this design was the kitchen for her new studio in Stockholm.

While the interior world is all about darker walls and moody vibes, every once in a while I can be very inspired again by a fresh and white interior like this one. The all white floors, walls and ceilings really offer a blank canvas for the decorator and I love how subtile the decor is in this place. Tints of grey and beige, paired up with some wooden pieces cozy up this otherwise almost clinically white place.

For the longest time I have been turning myself away from using any forms of red in our interior. Recently though muted tints of red (more towards terracotta) have been growing on me. This bedroom is a perfect example of red accent colors used in combination with grey and neutral textile for a warm and cozy look.

The PH House – a restoration of a historic villa in Copenhagen – is the latest project of Danish Norm Architects and I love how the first thing you notice when you look at these pictures is the quality and variety of the materials used. The marble combined with brass and different wood types makes for a very high quality look where only a minimal amount of furniture and design items are necessary to decorate the place.
