Oh hey, I’ve promised a tour of my home when we moved in, so here it is – better late than never, right?
Our home is a top floor unit in a 3-level-Victorian building in the Lower Haight/ Hayes neighborhood in San Francisco. We were very lucky to find this flat, it’s pretty spacious in SF standards and it has a huge bonus : it’s under rent control law, which means that we won’t see huge surges in rental prices at lease renewal time, like in our previous rental. It also has a small patio, neglected by the previous tenants, where I added lots of potted plants, a table, some chairs and an umbrella, and where we spend a lot of time as a family.
